WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN SMALL BATCH ARTISAN MARKET?

✓ We set table and booth fees so they cover the cost of the event hall plus an additional 15% charge to contribute to marketing the event. That’s it.

✓ The organizers are artists who got tired of vending at expensive, poorly planned markets. Our goal is to create an event that is worth your time and resources and can help introduce your small handcrafted business to local customers.

✓ The market will be held in a temperature controlled, secure location so you can be assured of comfort during the market and security at night.

✓ We provide tables free of charge which saves you the hassle of hauling your own to the site.

✓ The market is located in a prime spot in Downtown Tigard near additional retail shops and restaurants. There will be plenty of foot traffic in the area but we will also run paid advertisements.

✓ Many creators are disheartened to see AI art, cheap imported knick-knacks, or MLMs at craft events. All vendors at Small Batch Artisan Markets will be vetted for quality and must have original work. This creates a more enjoyable experience for customers who will be more likely to attend and purchase.

✓ There is no competition in art. Only community. We can work together to make this event a great experience for vendors and customers. We encourage vendors to help one another where they see a need so no one is exhausted by the time the doors open.

VENDOR QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18 years of age or older and must be able to process payments.

✓ Everything you sell must be handmade by you. If you do not own the copyright or license to use the graphics or patterns you use you will not be accepted. We promise a quality market with original art to customers. We do not accept MLMs, 3D printers (unless you can show us you have a 100% original design with artistic merit), any AI artwork, or any fan art.

✓ We would love to showcase products made by artisans in many categories but we will have some limitations due to space and practicality. We would gladly consider fiber artists, painters, paper artists, sculptors, jewelers, wood workers, metal workers, or any other artistic category. We would also consider artisan made products such as bath & body products, confections or shelf stable food products, or any other similar type of home-made product with artistic attention to quality. We cannot accept MLMs, service based businesses, or food businesses that require a cooktop or refrigeration. If you have questions about ellegebility please reach out using our contact page.

✓ You must submit an official application by the due date to be considered. This includes completion of all questions and submission of a few images of your work and workspace. Applications and photos will never be made public and are for the exclusive purpose of vetting applicants.

✓ You must be available both days of the market and preferably be able to load-in the evening before the market starts. We will not accept single day participants.
